Custom graphic design, illustration and typography services
for identity, branding, print and more
Hello, I'm Molly! I’m an independent print graphic designer working for nice people around the Bay Area. I’m almost always making something (sometimes it’s just lunch), but graphic design tickles my brain and interests me more than most things. I enjoy thinking through problems, building visual families and squinting at what each stroke of a typeface tells us. The visual communication and expression of ideas is eternally fascinating to me. The opportunity to get my hands dirty almost always holds appeal. I get added satisfaction out of seeing people excited about our work and proud to use it to promote themselves, their businesses and their organizations. Playing with the kids, riding my bike, eating delicious food, gardening, and home-tinkering — I do all that stuff, too, ever-aiming for balance in layout and in existence.

Each project starts with a discussion to define the parameters of what you need. I’ll ask a bundle of questions and we’ll review your budget. We’ll do estimates and paper work, we'll gather sources and inspirations, we'll get ready to start.
After we’ve got the project outlined in writing and the terms and budget approved, we can get started on the visual design. Exploration of ideas is key to focusing in on a solution that will work. Each project unfolds in its own way, but as we work our way through the design process, you’ll get updates from me on timing and you should know what to expect in your next draft.
When we’ve arrived at our goal, I will pack our work up for production and, if you like, oversee the printing or implementation phase of the project as well.
