Edtec needed a brochure to describe their services to potential charter school administrators that went beyond bulleted lists and images of happy children.
They weren't QUITE sure how they wanted to put it all together.
The first draft explored three components of the project:
Format for the brochure
Conceptual design approach
Structure and pacing of messaging concepts and tone
This draft also pulled together additional found conceptual imagery to provide food for thought
A collection of gears resonated with Edtec so we started from there to build a descriptive graphic of their services. We worked outward from there to establish the pacing of the imagery and message.
We revised, honed and cleaned our copy, design and illustration over a handful of drafts.
Developing the custom school graphic to house the gears made a great set up for seeing the full image when the brochure is open
Edtec had the tri-fold brochures printed locally and has had found further use for the graphics in advertisements and banners
